The Garrison is a restaurant inside Tega Cay Golf Club in Tega Cay, South Carolina — part of the growing York County corridor south of Charlotte. Royal Nerds was brought in to build the restaurant's entire technology backbone from the ground up: network design and installation, structured data cabling across all service areas, Toast POS system setup and configuration, and Fluke DSX-5000 network certification with full documentation.

The Project
Tega Cay Golf Club needed a restaurant-grade technology foundation for The Garrison — a venue that would serve golfers, members, and the local community. The infrastructure had to support reliable payment processing during peak hours, kitchen operations that move fast, and a hospitality experience that runs smoothly from open to close.
The scope included designing the network architecture, running certified data cable to every POS station, kitchen area, WiFi access point, and back-of-house workstation, installing and configuring the Toast POS system for the restaurant's menu and floor plan, and certifying every cable run to commercial standards.
